Artemandoline & Nuria Rial closed the 'Art Between Giants' Festival

The 3rd edition of the 'Arte entre Gigantes' Festival, organized by the 'Ciudad de La Mancha' Orchestra, has taken a leap in quality with the collaboration of the Junta de Comunidades de Castilla-La Mancha -through the Fundación Impulsa- and of the Campo de Criptana City Council, which has sponsored the closing concert through the Destination Tourism Sustainability Plan.

The balance of this Festival has been very positive, completing the capacity of the five concerts that have been offered, as the Artistic Director of the City of La Mancha Orchestra, Fernando Bustamante, commented. A 97% box office sale that has supported the “exceptional quality of the artists”, hallmark of 'Arte entre Gigantes'.

A quality like that of Artemandoline and Nuria Rial who, at the Bodegas El Vínculo facilities, transported viewers back to the 17th and 18th centuries, disseminating original mandolin music together with the voice of one of the most internationally renowned Spanish sopranos. . A concert that cannot be enjoyed often, if not in big cities or capitals.

“This Festival shows that quality culture can be created in our rural environment”, highlighted the Delegate of the Board in Ciudad Real, Carmen Teresa Olmedo.

Culture of Quality that, in the third edition of 'Arte entre Gigantes', has attracted numerous visitors from all over the region, "which shows that this Festival has been consolidated, despite the fact that it was born on quicksand", recalled the Cryptan mayor Santiago Lazarus.

And it is that this initiative that combines music and heritage, because it selects unique settings in the town, such as Cerro de la Paz or El Pósito, as well as restaurants and, this year also, a winery; emerged in the year 2020, marked by the uncertainty of the pandemic. A fact that has not prevented it from gaining in quality and capacity in a short time.
