French Rome has seen its catering offer renew over the past five years. A qualitative offer is deployed there. This bodes well for a city that will present the Maison Carrée in 2023 for inclusion on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Here are our favorite addresses.
The spiciest: Red
It is installed rue Fresque and it is a sacred picture offered by Georgiana Viou, member of the “MasterChef” jury soon to be back on France 2, and (especially) in the kitchens of this establishment. On the plate, the well-known marine flavors of the Mediterranean (carpaccio of mullet, roasted mackerel, natural sea bream) are shaken by spicy touches drawn from Beninese childhood and the chef's past wanderings. This is what gives pep. The cooking of the fish is perfect and the tastes very balanced. With the delicious sea bream, the zucchini is worked in different textures (melting, crunchy).
