Porsche 911 GT3 RS: From the track to the road, non-stop (or almost)

In addition to its power increased to 525 horsepower (+15hp compared to the 911 GT3), the 911 GT3 RS incorporates a large part of the aerodynamic elements of its racing counterpart. We directly spot a characteristic spoiler which, for the first time, even receives a DRS system (Drag Reduction System). Well known to F1 fans, this device reduces wind resistance on the straights to optimize top speed. Conversely, the system can also act as an airbrake during emergency braking at high speed.

The rest is obviously just as imbued with the world of racing, with in particular adjustable suspensions from the passenger compartment, a lightweight construction (1,450 kg) to the maximum, in particular via a carbon fiber body, brakes with enlarged discs and pistons. , and even a racing roll cage for the Clubsport version, offered at no additional cost.

The 911 GT3 RS can thus go from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds, and reach nearly 300 km/h (296 km/h exactly).
