Messe Erfurt GmbH, in close coordination with the partner and trade associations involved, announces that the riding-hunting-fishing fairs planned for April 1 to 3, 2022, fair for leisure in nature and Forst³, fair for forest, Forest and wood, not carried out.

“Unfortunately, the commitments from our exhibitors are far behind the usual level. We want to offer our guests a high-quality trade fair without compromises. Unfortunately, that is not possible in 2022," said managing director Michael Kynast, explaining the decision.

Fair would fall short of expectations

Project manager Laszlo Bor: "Even though the opening discussion for trade fairs and exhibitions is currently in full swing, the current regulatory situation has not allowed us to make any reliable statements to exhibitors and program participants in recent weeks. Trade fairs and exhibitions are currently still prohibited in Thuringia. This creates a great deal of uncertainty among all partners. Over 1,000 committed people from 15 associations are involved in the preparation and implementation of our unique supporting program. Program participants need a long lead time for training and preparation. In addition, they were and still are handicapped in their association work due to corona-related restrictions. The fair would fall short of expectations – those of the guests as well as ours as organizers.”
