It fell to Lionel Messi, along with the president of the Argentine Football Association (AFA) Claudio Tapia, to cut the ribbon at the time that marked the inauguration of an impressive mural at the AFA headquarters in Ezeiza, allusive to winning the Copa América title.
On the main wall of the building, 17 meters wide and 11 meters high, was placed a panel with Messi and company raising the cup, which portrayed the immense happiness for winning a title that took 28 years to reach. The work was done by a dozen people from the YPF company in record time, to have everything ready in 24 hours while the national team was in Paraguay.
The protagonists of the consecration also autographed a space on a wall designed for this purpose.
