The man (36), who was a foreign citizen, lived in Romsdal.

Was on tour when he fell
Large forces were notified after a person had fallen from Skarfjellet in Innerdalen in Sunndal on Saturday afternoon. The police were notified at 16.15 about what is being described as a climbing accident.
– It does not look good, the person is probably badly injured, said operations manager Tove Anita Asp at Møre og Romsdal police district on Saturday afternoon.
On Sunday, the police can state that the man died in the accident.
The man was on a trip with a woman when he allegedly fell. It was the woman who reported the accident to the naudetatane. According to the police, she was physically unharmed and was picked up from the mountain on Saturday night.
The man, who died from the injuries he received in the fall, was also taken out on Saturday night. It is so far unclear how far the man should have fallen.
The two climbers will be in their 30s and live in Norway. To NTB, operations manager Tove Anita Asp says that they are described as experienced climbers.
An eyewitness in the city told that hikers must have met the two climbers on their way up to the mountain on Saturday morning. A few hours later, things went wrong.
The police were notified of the accident just after 16.00.
Rescue helicopter and air ambulance were present at the mountain area on Saturday. The alpine rescue group was also notified and participated in the rescue work, the Main Rescue Center reported.
The mountain area in Innerdalen on Nordmøre has been a playground for well-known Norwegian climbers, and is described as a classic with its distinctive rock formations.
