A professor from the Jean XXII Institute dies at school (Rochefort)

The emergency services could not do anything to save the victim.

Gilles Defaux, professor of French and former director of the Jean XXIII Institute in Rochefort died this Tuesday morning in the establishment. The information was reported in the afternoon by our colleagues from MaTélé.

Feeling unwell, the 49-year-old professor went to the infirmary, where he died of a heart attack. Resuscitation attempts by school staff were unsuccessful. When help arrived, Gilles Defaux had died.

A PMS team immediately went to the scene to support the school community. The Wallonia-Brussels Federation was also to send a psychological cell on site, says MaTélé.
