In the 8th round of the first league, the Pilsen footballers defeated České Budějovice at home after a 2: 1 turnaround and consolidated their lead in an incomplete table. Viktoria won the seventh match in the season of the highest competition. At the beginning of the second half, the guests were sent to the lead by Nigerian Fortune Bassey, between the 69th and 79th minute the defenders Radim Řezník and Lukáš Hejda turned the score. The West Bohemians thus celebrated the 110th anniversary of the club’s founding.
For the first time in the season, the healed midfielder Kalvach started in the basic line-up of the Pilsen team. The home team wore special retro jerseys, the fans in the stands symbolically performed a celebratory choreo in the 11th minute.
