After the mass vaccination against coronavirus started, the Norwegian Patient Injury Compensation (NPE) has now received a total of 141 compensation claims.
Four of the compensation claims are in connection with the serious side effect combination vaccine-induced immune thrombotic thrombocytopenia (VITT), which in a few Norwegians was triggered by the coronary vaccine of AstraZeneca.
NPE director Rolf Gunnar Jørstad tells NRK that three of the cases have been decided, and that a basis for compensation has been provided for all three.
The amount of compensation has not yet been determined.
According to the channel, a total of eight people received WHITE after AstraZeneca vaccination in Norway. Four of them died.
No one has been shown WHITE in connection with the vaccines of Moderna and Pfizer, which are the ones now offered in Norway.
