TEXAS – At least two people were injured and three homes were damaged after a military plane crashed Sunday morning in the North Texas Lake Worth neighborhood, authorities said.
The incident, which occurred in the 4000 block of Texas and Dakota Trail, was initially reported at 10:53 am this Sunday, according to Lake Worth police.
At a press conference, the head of that police force, JT Manoushagian, said that someone called authorities about a person trapped in electrical wiring. He added that the other occupant of the plane was found in a nearby neighborhood.
None of the neighborhood residents were injured, said Ryan Arthur, chief of police for the Lake Worth Fire Department.
The causes of the accident are under investigation. If anyone finds debris from the aircraft, it is recommended that they do not touch it, do not move it, and call the non-emergency line 817-237-1224.

WHAT IS KNOWN ABOUT THE OCCUPANTS OF THE AIRCRAFT
The two occupants of the T-45C Goshawk jet were conducting a routine training flight that departed from Corpus Christi International Airport, said Lt. Michelle Tucker, a spokeswoman for the chief of naval air training.
They were ejected before the aircraft crashed two miles northeast of the Fort Worth Joint Reserve Base.
The pilot is in stable condition, Lt. Michelle Tucker said in a news release. The condition of the student aviator is unknown, although it is known that he is alive and receiving medical treatment.
The person in critical condition was taken to Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas. The other individual was taken to Texas Health Methodist Harris Hospital in Fort Worth, according to MedStar.
Authorities have not released their identities.
“A STRONG EXPLOSION”: WITNESSES REPORT THE ACCIDENT
Witnesses told NBC5 that there were two people who appeared to have been ejected from the aircraft and that one of them was seriously injured after becoming entangled in electrical wiring.
“I was in my car in [State Highway] 199 right in front of the donut shop when the pilot landed on the power lines, “Cara Camp told NBC 5.” As I was driving, I heard a loud explosion and debris hit the car. “
Kaitlyn Deramus lives on the Texas Trail and told NBC5 that she saw two people get off the plane and then the crash. He said he ran to help his neighbors, one of whom is paralyzed, because he knew they would need help getting out.
“I knew there were old ladies in that house where it happened and it was knocking on their door, but they didn’t come out because they thought it was just a car, so I took them out,” Deramus said. “In the house behind, I ran to the next street and took that lady out of that house because she is paralyzed and needed to get out.”
“I have anxiety, but all I wanted to do was save those old ladies because I’ve known them since I was very, very little,” Deramus said. “They are well physically.”
This is a breaking story. Come back later for updates.
