We can also test how smooth the new Honda BR-V is, especially compared to the previous generation.

After starting the car with remote engine start, we started loading a lot of stuff in the trunk which was flat on the floor when the back seat was folded. The cabin is also cool because the car air conditioner is on at the same time as the engine when it features remote engine start turned on, so it’s comfortable when you enter. When it comes to engine traction, handling and stability, these are the aspects where the new Honda BR-V shines brightly. The engine pull is now more stable at mid-speed, no need to bother pressing the gas pedal until the floor is flat to get adequate acceleration. The steering wheel is solid, feels heavy and doesn’t turn off like other cars. Riding this Honda BR-V really gives a stronger sense of confidence.

Because it uses a CVT transmission, the engine speed when the car is traveling at 100 km / h is not up to 2,000 rpm. Fuel consumption during the Jakarta-Solo trip is in the range of 17 km/liter with the condition of the car being that the AC is on, the speed is always changing, stopping at rest area 3 times, the car is filled with 3 people and the trunk is full.
