The collection of signatures for an Unconditional Basic Income begins

The promoter of the popular legislative initiative (ILP) for an Unconditional Basic Income in Euskadi yesterday began collecting signatures in the three Basque capitals. As defended by the promoters, through the ILP they propose to the Basque Parliament the debate and approval of a law that establishes a basic income as an “individual right and comparable to other basic rights such as health or education.” They intend to open a debate on this issue.
