The Prague Stock Exchange started the new week with stronger sales, when measured by the PX index, it weakened by -1.51% to 1,285 points. It happened with negative sentiment in the world after the largest Chinese developer is in danger of insolvency and at the same time investors are watching the Fed meeting this week. In the Western European markets, the financial sector was under the greatest selling pressure, which was also reflected in the Prague Stock Exchange. Erste Bank fell -2.69% to CZK 883, Moneta Money Bank down -0.56% to CZK 88 and Komerční banka fell -1.68% to CZK 847. Insurance company Vig then lost -1.68% to CZK 613. However, other titles on the Prague Stock Exchange also failed. Cez depreciated -1.07% to CZK 693 and Avast fell by -1.02%. Kofola weakened by -2.75% to CZK 318 and Stock spirits fell by -1.60% below CZK 111.
