There’s a lot of news that Mini Gardens were damaged after being taken over by the government, these are facts on the ground

Around five excavators were seen operating at Arsipel lake, TMII.

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA — Netizens on Twitter were busy discussing the damaged and neglected buildings in Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII). Photographs of various destinations such as the Telecommunications Museum to SnowBay Waterpark are even said to have been neglected since they were taken over by the government in 2021.

“TMII before and after being taken over and managed by the Government. Ambyeaaarrrrrrrr…….damaging not making it better,” one netizen tweeted. @RomitsuT while attaching photos of SnowBay Waterpark and the Telecommunications Museum before and after being taken over, Wednesday (19/1).

Other netizens also commented regarding the damage to these buildings.” TMII, your current history. The face of the Telecommunications Museum located in Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) is currently very worrying. This museum has been closed in a fragile condition that has not been managed. Likewise with the Museum Oil and Gas,” tweeted an account @catchmeupid.

Monitoring Republika.co.id, at TMII, Friday (21/1), buildings such as the Telecommunications Museum are in a fairly severe condition. The roof is shaped like a dome and the walls have no color anymore.

However, an excavator was seen in front of the building knocking down some parts of the museum. Several workers were also seen at the site as if they were in the process of building the place.

Lake Archipel which is one of the favorites of visitors also does not look like its usual condition. The lake water recedes, there is only mud, no birds are commonly seen in that place.

But as happened at the Telecommunications Museum, about five excavators were seen operating on the Archipel lake. The heavy equipment seemed to be digging the soil after the lake water was drained out.

Another building that looks damaged is the traditional house on the North Sumatra pavilion. The roof has holes in it and visitors are not allowed to enter because there are signs that the place is under repair. Monitoring Republika.co.id, also this building is in the process of being repaired, it can be seen from the number of workers who are active there.

TMII is being beautified

Quoted from bumn.go.id, TMII is in the process of revitalization with a special arrangement. The arrangement was carried out to welcome the upcoming G20 international events.
