This person’s body was discovered in the women’s restroom, next to the words scrawled on the wall: “I am not killer“.

This person was later identified as Diego Barajas Medina, 20 years old. The incident happened at Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park, an amusement park located on a mountain in the state of Colorado – USA.

Medina’s body was discovered by maintenance staff on the morning of October 28, according to AP news agency. Garfield County Coroner Robert Galssmire said Medina died after shooting himself in the head.

Medina was armed with an AR-style rifle, a semi-automatic handgun and multiple explosive devices, and was wearing SWAT-like body armor and tactical clothing.

Garfield County Sheriff Lou Vallario said the words “I’m not a killer, I just wanted to go to the cave” were written on the bathroom wall where Medina’s body was found on the floor. Nearby is a shotgun and the explosive device, some real and some fake.

Mr. Vallario could not conclude whether the above inscription was actually written by Medina or not.

“Considering the preparation, with the number of weapons that Medina had, it was likely that he intended to use them against the community. He chose not to do so,” Mr. Vallario said.

Police said multiple homemade explosive devices were found in Medina’s car. The rest of the amusement park was searched by the authorities and no other explosive devices were discovered.

If one attack If it happens on a weekend, casualties are likely to be high because this is the time when people go to the mountains to watch the autumn colors change. Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park is also located in an isolated location, making it more difficult to move victims to the hospital.
