Speaking at the opening of the Conference, Minister of Transport Nguyen Van Thang said that 2023 is truly a year of many breakthroughs in investment in transport infrastructure development with the commencement of 26 projects, of which shortening Construction start time for 6 important national projects is 1 year compared to normal procedures and for the first time, construction will be started simultaneously online. North – South expressway project Eastern phase 2 at 12 bridge points of 12 component projects; Commencement of East – West highway highway projects, Urban belt routes in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Commencement of Long Thanh International Airport terminal works, Terminal T3 of Tan Son Nhat Airport ….At the same time, 20 projects were completed and put into operation, of which 9 expressway projects were 475km long, bringing the total length of expressways put into operation across the country to nearly 1,900 km.

The disbursement of public investment capital and economic capital continues to meet the requirements and set goals.
