According to the spokesman of the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs – Majed Al-Ansari, 13 women and children will be transported Hamas released on the first day.

Mr. Al-Ansari said the list of hostages expected to be released had been handed over to the Israeli Intelligence Agency (Mossad) and negotiations between all mediators continued until this morning.

The hostage release route will be kept secret for safety reasons. Qatar will work closely with the Red Cross and the parties to the conflict in this process.

Previously, the ceasefire was scheduled to begin on Thursday but was delayed.

Speaking on November 23, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that Tel Aviv is trying to get the first group of hostages out of the Gaza Strip but “it’s not without challenges.”

“We hope to complete this first wave, then we are committed to bringing everyone home,” Netanyahu said during a meeting with British Foreign Secretary David Cameron.

“We will continue our war aims, mainly to eliminate Hamas.”

The British Foreign Office said Foreign Minister Cameron will meet with leaders Israel and Palestine to discuss the current crisis and the way forward.

“The Secretary of State will discuss the need to get all hostages out of the Gaza Strip and get more aid, as well as the need to work toward a lasting solution that brings security and justice to Israelis and Palestinians,” the British Foreign Office said.

On Wednesday, the govt Israel ratified a deal with Hamas under which the militant group would release 50 hostages in exchange for 150 Palestinian women and children prisoners held by Israel, accompanied by a four-day ceasefire.

There is a plan to halt fighting for up to 10 days, but Tel Aviv believes it is unlikely to last that long. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said when the deal was approved that for every 10 hostages released there would be an additional day of ceasefire.
