According to Defense Express, on November 2, Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense released a video of its forces repelling one Russian raid in Vuhledar.
Report from 72nd Mechanized Brigade, repelling unit raid, said they blew up 1 T-80BV tank, 2 T-72B3 tanks and many BMP-1/BMP-2 infantry fighting vehicles. News agency Noel Reports revealed, that lost about 18 armored vehicles in the attempt to raid Vuhledar.
Ukrainian media said that Russian forces have reapplied the raid tactic with a large number of armored vehicles that were used in Avdiivka. However, the Ukrainian army soon discovered the plan and took countermeasures.
It is unclear whether Russia will continue to raid around Vuhledar or not. Defense Express sources said that Russia is deploying 4 brigades with different functions in this area.
