Olwen House is a residential and business project located in a busy residential area in Da Nang.The requirement for architects is design house Combining living, working, and showroom spaces on a street plot of only 75 m2, it still ensures privacy and quality of life for the homeowner.Inspired by the lifestyle and traditional structure of an ancient house in the Central region, the design team proposed a vertically stacked multi-storey architecture for a multi-functional structure.The 1st and 2nd floors are for working space combined with a wedding dress showroom.The 3rd floor is devoted entirely to living needs with 3 main rooms. The front room is the living space for future children, the last room is the sleeping space for the couple, the middle space is the living area combined with dining and receiving guests.The space is designed to avoid feeling cramped but still ensure privacy.Each front and back space has a mezzanine to increase usable area and provide a corner for children to climb and explore. This design is reminiscent of thrones old town house In Hoi An, there are mezzanines on flood days, with a tiled roof on top and a wooden ceiling below.The highlight in the way of dividing residential and business functions is the outdoor iron staircase.
