The boy’s older sister, Carolina Dalmaz, tried to give her brother CPR while waiting for the ambulance to arrive. “I tried to save my brother’s life. I did everything I could, because I’m a nurse, I’ve saved a lot of people. I thought I could also save Augusto but… Augusto was very happy when it was decorated for Christmas, no one could imagine what happened,” Carolina told local media.
Augusto suddenly died at a time when the family was very sad when the boy’s grandfather had also passed away a few weeks earlier. The boy’s uncle, Hebert Bonato, sadly shared: “Two weeks ago, we lost our father and now this additional shock. I did not know Augusto belectrocuted to death What happened, was it because the wire was exposed or was it due to the boy’s actions?”.
Augusto was an altar boy at a local church and was very religious, Hebert said. The boy loves this time of year because he wants to spread the Christmas spirit to others.
