Established Viet Yen town with 9 wards
Accordingly, Viet Yen town was established on the basis of the entire 171.01 km2 natural area and population of 229,162 people of Viet Yen district in Bac Giang province.
9 wards of Viet Yen town were established, including: Bich Dong, Nenh, Tang Tien, Hong Thai, Quang Minh, Ninh Son, Van Trung, Quang Chau, Tu Lan.
So, Viet Yen town There are 17 commune-level administrative units, including the 9 wards mentioned above and 8 communes: Huong Mai, Nghia Trung, Minh Duc, Thuong Lan, Tien Son, Trung Son, Van Ha, Viet Tien.

The resolution also stated clearly, establishing the People’s Court of Viet Yen town on the basis of inheriting the People’s Court of Viet Yen district, Bac Giang province; Established the People’s Procuracy of Viet Yen town on the basis of inheriting the People’s Procuracy of Viet Yen district, Bac Giang province.
This Resolution takes effect from February 1, 2024. From the effective date of this resolution, Bac Giang province has 10 district-level administrative units, including 8 districts, 1 town and 1 city; 209 commune-level administrative units, including 175 communes, 19 wards and 15 towns.
Merge Thieu Phu commune into Thieu Hoa town, establishing Hau Hien town
Regarding the adjustment of administrative boundaries in Thanh Hoa, the resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee resolved to import the entire 6.53 km2 natural area and population of 9,175 people of Thieu Phu commune into Thieu Hoa town. .
After merging, Thieu Hoa town has 17.21 km2 of natural area and a population of 28,352 people.
Established Hau Hien town on the basis of the entire 10.41 km2 natural area and population of 12,061 people of Minh Tam commune.

Thanh Hoa province There are 27 district-level administrative units, including 23 districts, 2 towns and 2 cities; 558 commune-level administrative units, including 467 communes, 60 wards and 31 towns.
