The memorandum comes within the framework of G42's strategic efforts aimed at enhancing governments' use of artificial intelligence technologies and solutions, to achieve the highest possible efficiency in various fields, as well as supporting the Bulgarian government's aspirations to enhance its digital capabilities and develop its own technological system.

The memorandum enhances the prospects for joint development of artificial intelligence and cloud computing solutions between the two sides within various sectors, with a focus on a number of areas, including energy efficiency, digital governance and smart cities.

Under the memorandum, the G42 Group is looking with the Bulgarian Ministry of Innovation and Growth, ways to cooperate with government and private institutions, to enhance the benefit of investment and commercial opportunities that, in turn, contribute to achieving the objectives of the agreement.

The memorandum was signed between the two sides on the sidelines of the official visit of the President of the Republic of Bulgaria, Rumen Radev, to the UAE, at the head of a high-level government delegation.

The MoU was signed by His Excellency Mansour Al Mansouri, Chief Operating Officer of the G42 Group, and His Excellency Alexander Bolev, Bulgarian Minister of Innovation and Growth.
