Alderman Schöler’s wife died in a clinic in Libramont following the quad bike accident (Florenville)

Christian Schöler, alderman of Works in Florenville, and his wife Nathalie Henriquet, have been operating a farm for several years in Florenville. Thursday evening, a little after 10 p.m., both were busy feeding cattle and Nathalie Henriquet had taken a quad to go to a large hangar located on Chemin Dessus la Haye, near the new cemetery of Florenville.

Unfortunately, the machine turned on the poor lady, seriously injured. Her husband was able to arrive a little later and call for help.

Ms. Schöler was transported in serious condition to the Libramont clinic by the Florenville fire brigade ambulance. His vital prognosis was engaged. She died in clinic on Friday. She was 53 years old.

The announcement of this accident caused great emotion this Friday among the population of Florenville where the Schöler family is esteemed and honorably known.

The current municipal college of Florenville already experienced a tragedy a year ago, in September 2020, when the mayor, Jacques Gigot, died suddenly during a walk. Caroline Godfrin succeeded him.
