Website Uptime Monitoring Built Into Your Analytics

BYOViral now monitors availability for the websites you already track. Enable uptime, then review Monitors, Status pages, and Incidents with HTTP codes, response times, recent checks, and 30-day uptime in one private dashboard.

TL;DR Uptime monitoring checks each enabled website every five minutes, records whether the site is up or down, stores HTTP status and response time, builds private status summaries, and lists failed checks as incidents.

What BYOViral checks

Each monitor requests the public homepage URL for a website in your account. BYOViral records the final availability result, HTTP status code, response time in milliseconds, and any connection or redirect error. The checks are private to the website owner.

Where uptime lives in the app

Open Uptime from the left menu. Its submenu includes Monitors, Status pages, and Incidents, so reliability checks stay separate from SEO Reports.

Why uptime belongs beside analytics

Traffic drops can come from marketing, SEO, or reliability. Seeing uptime beside visitor analytics helps you separate a real acquisition issue from a website that was simply down, slow, redirecting incorrectly, or returning server errors.

Security and abuse protection

Uptime checks reuse the same hardened URL guard used by BYOViral SEO Reports. Localhost, private IP ranges, unsupported protocols, excessive redirects, and long-running requests are rejected before the system connects.
